Ready, set, …. stop!

I can’t believe it! Just when I was starting to get into the groove, AND having received my first set of clubs as a birthday gift, the weather has totally changed! It is as if the Gods don’t want me on the golf course.

Seriously! I was making good progress on my swing and getting the ball to go in the direction I wanted. I was eager to get out to the driving range and eventually on the green to try out my new clubs and wouldn’t you know it…. it hasn’t stopped raining since.

I guess this is a true example of Murphy’s Law. Or is this just a test to see how serious I am about the game? 

I’m still optimistic and look forward to the sunny days where I can steal away for a few hours and hit a few balls.
